“Social Media” is an online channel, website or platform allowing internet users to create, store and post their content effortlessly for sharing on the internet with others. Content may include images, videos, text, audio, graphics etc. Also, different social media channels have varying limitations on what they can host or share.
The niche or area of expertise/focus on each social media channel separates it from the rest. In design, function, intended audience and purpose, no two are the same. Some social media channels do not allow anyone to view content created by others but rather limit access by the creator to “members” and “friends”. From the targeted athletes to specific political affiliations, the increasing number of niches that social networking sites are making things even more complex.

Social networks are one of the main instruments to create top-class organic search engine classifications. The first and most important tool for organic rankings includes links from major news sites, topics and Wikipedia, directories,.org,.edu or .gov sites. The second most important tool is your actual content and your website’s meta-tags, and the third is the display and inbound links created through a good social media campaign.
